THE DAMNED GIRL

A performer with long dark hair and thick bangs stares forward. She is draped in sheer black fabric and her face and hands are painted white. She holds on to a string that is attached to a white circle with a hole in the middle.
"An utterly enchanting hour of dance and theatre that is over too soon." - Brent Schaus, Monday Magazine

- - -

THE DAMNED GIRL is a piece between dance and theatre, light and darkness, and fate and choice. Impulse Theatre brings another highly physical story to Victoria Fringe where two women deal with their polar extremes, and hope to discover where they fit within their world inhabited by children, Fate, and an even greater shadow.

Directed, costumes, and sound by Andrew Barrett, set and lights by Paphavee Limkul, vocal compositions by Aulden MacQueen, stage managed by Imogen Wilson.

Created and performed by: Matilda Cobanli, Hayley Feigs, Chelsea Graham, Hayley McCurdy, Kathleen O'Reilly, Keshia Palm, Sarah Sabo, Levi Schneider, Staci Sten, Ali Trainor, and Nicola Whitney-Griffiths

Photography by Edward Lai Photography and Kayla Jeanson
